At Bandemonium we are always striving to give our students chances to perform on stage in front of an audience.
To this end we started MACAFEST - Music and Creative Arts Festival.
MACAFEST is an annual event held in term 3 for school ensembles. The festival aims to give students from Training and Concert Band's an opportunity to perform in a public and friendly, environment.
Each band is adjudicated by a professional who provides them with expert advice and encouragement.
Performance and adjudication will be hand written and your performance will be recorded and sent to you.

VENUE
MACAFEST 20189 will be held at the Camden Civic Centre, Cnr Oxley & Mitchell Streets, Camden
Parking is available across the road in the council carpark adjacent to Woolworths and on Mitchell, Oxley and John streets for audience members. Entry for audience members is free. Buses can pull up on Mitchell Street
COST
The cost of MACAFEST 2019 is discounted for Bandemonium Training and Concert Bands
For schools with other Band programs, the cost is
$150 per Band.
Bands will have 20 minutes on stage including the time to get on and off stage. Please be mindful of this time to ensure the smooth running of the day
Once the time of your performance has been scheduled, an arrival and departure time will be given to each band. There are many local bus companies that will be more than happy to assist taking your students to the Civic Centre.
